About Us

We are Rodger and Sheila Chavis, originally from Louisiana. We lived in the DFW area from 1989 until 2018. This is when we decided to start living our dream and made Perdido Key our full-time home!

How We Got Here

The first time we vacationed in Perdido Key we fell in love with the island because of its laid-back beach town feel. It became our go-to vacation destination. We knew then it was where we wanted to make our dream of owning a vacation rental come true.

After searching for the perfect Perdido Key Vacation Rental, we knew Ocean Breeze West was where it needed to be! It was a smaller complex right on the beach so it should never be overly crowded. It was exactly what we were looking for. Then, before long we found Perdido Dream!

Our Roles

I’m always available to answer any questions during the quoting or reservation process. Afterward, I am happy to assist guests any way I can. As soon as our amazing cleaning crew is finished on check-in days, I step in to ensure the condo is completely dialed in down to the smallest detail.

Rodger handles the technical and creative side of Perdido Dream. He is often the one who will come to the condo should any issues need attention.

Living close by, we’re usually only a call or text away and pride ourselves on our responsiveness to guests. We know how important vacations are, therefore, our main goal is to make sure yours will be one you will remember fondly.

Things We Think You’ll Enjoy

We always said if we ever had a vacation rental to share with others we wanted to offer things we enjoyed most while vacationing. Here are a few that we think you will enjoy, too…

  • Keyless entry. No keys to keep up with!
  • Easy access to the elevator. It is only a few steps away!
  • Access your balcony from the living area AND the primary bedroom. There’s nothing like waking up to see the beautiful Gulf waters!
  • Enjoy a smoke-free vacation. In addition to smoking and vaping being prohibited in our condo and on our balcony, our building, Ocean Breeze West, is a 100% Smoke-Free Facility. There is no smoking or vaping allowed anywhere on the property, including the parking lot and private beach. There is no designated smoking area.
